What Way 25W x 18H—#3 in a series of thought and meditative rhythm in creating patterns guided by the texture of the paper. This is about the confusion in our society that seems factual but is not? The threaded squares were inspired by the paper when it was made with the design. The found metal pieces in the middle are placed and stitched together to represent the unexpected. Handmade western paper, metal and thread.
Sand Creek 31"W x 24"H—Walnut frame, museum glass, handmade paper, age-old book paper, and thread. This was inspired by the Sand Wash Basin, where wild horses roam. I camped out and got to see up close about 30 horses. This work represents the dry land and blue sky they roam under.
